This is a Xhosa book on the thorny issue of tithing. Although tithing is common in the Baptists and Assemblies of God churches, Pentecostals and charismatics on the other hand have used tithes to enrich their pastors such that many of them own expensive cars, live in mansions and even own private jets - all of this at the expense of the poor. Unscrupulous pastors are taking advantage of the poor and depict God as a tax collector by manipulating scriptures.
