Heavy shelfwear to lower edges and signs of damp storage there also. ff lightly tanned at top and front edges. large gift inscription ffep. eps slightly foxed but remaining contents unmarked. the dustwrapper is rubbed and even faded (it is white!) and while showing writing impressions there are no tears or loss. We can only rate this as a sound Good copy with unmarked contents. no major faults but it just has not been looked after carefully. Sable. A facsimile copy of the 1840 edition. isbn 9780620083928
This is a near same-size facsimile edition, not to be confused with one of the small reduced-size editions, and has excellent reproductions of the prints. The consummate hunters hunter, Harris slaughtered game in quantities that no one else was ever able to match - mainly because in later years the game had been decimated by the predations of hunters.
